We understand how much work is needed to organise your special day so from the moment you book your Wedding Ceremony or Wedding Reception here, our friendly professional staff will ensure you are confident that the most important day of your life will be safe in our hands. Our expertise will help you plan your wedding reception in every detail, and enclosed you will find some useful information.
We take Wedding bookings well in advance so please contact us as soon as possible to check availability.
We have different wedding packages and options to suit every requirement and budget ranging from a package which incorporates the complete wedding day and evening to our make your own individual package (subject to our conditions).
Occasionally we may have availability up to last minute and we can offer a discount for Weddings on day’s such as Monday-Thursday (excluding bank holidays) so it is often worthwhile calling us. We can arrange for you to come and look around our facilities and discuss your general requirements.
On making a provisional booking we are happy to hold this date for 2 weeks.
Civil Ceremony
If you would like to hold a civil ceremony at The Parc Golf Club then you should first check availability with us and speak to the Superintendent Registrar to check the availability of a registrar.
The cost of hiring our room and the use of chair covers for your entire day in the colour of your choice or the use of our toastmaster is:
Sandalwood Suite 100 guests £645.00

Basic format of a Civil Ceremony
It is our duty to inform you of the following rules and guidelines for a civil ceremony to be held at The Parc Golf Club.
It is the engaged couple’s responsibility to book the registrar. The registrar will arrange to meet the bride and groom before the day.
Neither the club nor the wedding party can stop ‘outsiders’ from entering the ‘marriage room’ to witness the marriage.
No alcohol will be permitted in the ‘marriage room’ from one hour prior to the ceremony until the registrar has left the room.
Any music chosen must be of a non-religious nature. It is advisable that the bride and groom discuss their chosen music with the registrar before the day of the marriage.
There can be no decoration of any religious nature in the ‘marriage room’, this includes candles.
The running of a Civil Ceremony
Whoever is accompanying the bride to the ‘marriage room’ will be asked to arrive with the bride approximately 15 minutes before the ceremony to see the registrar.
The groom, best man and wedding guests usually arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony.
The registrar will require seeing the groom twenty five minutes before the ceremony to confirm that they are who they say they are.
The best man/ master of ceremonies will then ask all the guests to assemble in the ‘marriage room’. As mentioned previously no alcohol is permitted in the ‘marriage room’.
Any background music will be turned off and requested music will be played as appropriate and the bride and her attendants will be escorted to the ‘marriage room’ by the Functions Manager.
Once the ceremony is completed the guests can retire to the bar for the drinks reception and the club grounds are available for photo opportunities.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of £400.00 is required to secure the booking. Six weeks prior to your reception 50% of the balance is required. Full outstanding payment is then due two weeks before.
Please note that there can be no changes to numbers after the two week final payment.
Bar Hours
The bar will open during the day for your guests and will continue until 12.30am.
Please note the restrictions that apply should you be having a Civil Ceremony at the Parc.
Menus / Prices
Our menus are either individually priced or at a set price depending on which package option you decide best suits your requirements. All prices are inclusive of VAT.
Please note:
If there is a change in VAT our prices in all the packages will be adjusted accordingly.
Please note that only one dish can be selected from each course and a minimum of three courses must be chosen. During the months of May, June, July, August and September minimum numbers apply, please speak with the functions Department for further information.
Evening Party’s
A buffet chosen from our brochure is required (depending on what package you have chosen) during the evening and all guests must be catered for. A minimum of 80 guests is required during the months of May, June, July, August and September. Our resident disc jockey is available at an additional cost and will play the type of music you require until 1.00am.
Capacity
Our sandalwood Suite is able to accommodate up to 130 guests for the formal ‘sit down’ reception and 150 for an evening party.
Please contact us to arrange a visit to the club and meet with our Functions Manager, who can then advise and discuss arrangements for your very special day.
Wine
A wide variety of wines are available on our full wine list. However, if there is something else that would suit your palate then please do not hesitate to ask.

A square or round cake stand and knife will be supplied free of charge.
Photographs
The gardens are available for photographs of your most memorable day. However, please ensure that you do not encroach on the golf facilities.
Children
Children are very welcome at The Parc, however we must insist that they are supervised at all times. Children under 12 years of age will be charged half price, and children under 3 are free.
Valuables / Personal items
All guests should ensure that all personal belongings, gifts, cards, cameras etc are taken away at the end of the day or evening. The management cannot take responsibility for items left over night.
